I have more than 20 years of business, sales, and leadership experience, having worked in leadership positions for large, successful companies such as WordPerfect, Novell, FranklinCovey and BNI, as well as small companies like Mission Ignition and ContactPoint.  I have been an Executive Trainer and Success Coach for over 18 years. I am a Certified FranklinCovey Coach, with extensive experience as a Business Coach, Sales Consultant, Trainer, Keynote Speaker, and Business Referral Networking Consultant.  Clients of note have come from prominent organizations such as the United States Department of Justice, The United Nations, Allied Waste/Republic Services, The New York Stock Exchange, Disney, Microsoft, BNI and many others.

As a Success Coach, I coach entrepreneurs, business owners, and executives on establishing goals and objectives for each area of life, including both business and personal goals, and then hold them accountable for achieving those goals. I coach for professional success and personal excellence, and help my clients understand the importance of maintaining balance between them.  Anyone can achieve a measure of success in the short term by simply sacrificing balance. But can success be maintained throughout life without appropriate balance? Based on my experience, it cannot.

Balance is the very key to lasting, sustainable success in all areas of life.  I help my clients achieve success WITH balance, not at the expense of it. That means being effective in every facet of life including:

  • Business/Career
  • Financial
  • Health
  • Friends & Family
  • Marriage
  • Personal Growth
  • Fun & Recreation
  • Organization

While most of my clients begin with an emphasis on business, they soon discover that improving in other areas where they are less effective leads to even greater success with their primary business and financial goals.

Personal:

I live in St. George, Utah, but I’m originally from California, born in San Francisco (I left my heart there), and raised in Santa Cruz.  As a young man I spent two years in Germany as an M-1 Tank Driver in the U.S. Army. Just a year after getting home I went right back overseas for two more years to serve as a missionary form my church in England.  After completing my missionary service I went to BYU-Idaho where I met and married my beautiful wife Becky.  We’ve been married for 23 years and have five wonderful children (three girls and two boys). I’m an avid sports enthusiast (Go BYU!), love to travel, see movies on the big screen (video is not the same), and of course you can’t beat a great book.  My favorite quotes are, “Whether you believe you can, or can’t, you’re right!” by Henry Ford, and “Most people are about as happy as they make up their minds to be.” by Abraham Lincoln.
